Voice Of the Classroom
Aren’t we all familiar with the voices of the classroom- it’s a mix of chattering before the teacher walks in and the OG “ GOOODDD MOORRNNINNGG MA’AM” with the occasional “Ma’am,may I go to the washroom?
The shuffle of notebooks, laughing at silly jokes or sighing during surprise tests.
In these classes, students know their words matter, there is a structured environment and little minds are filled with dreams- they know their goals.
The other side
But in the same world, as these voices echo in the classroom, others have never seen a classroom and don’t even realise their dreams. They are stuck in society’s evil practices like child labour, early marriages, and dropouts. Education isn't even a thought for them, they don’t know about exams and the hustle and bustle during lunch period- imagine not knowing the feeling when the recess bell rings. They have been forced to accept their destiny.
We all have skipped classes in our life but what about those who have skipped their childhood?
Basic education is a privilege that they are denied and their voices?
Well unheard
It's 2025 and education is still a part of the debate and who has the right to attain it. Education is a universal right, it’s a power to change the world ,break out from the cycle of poverty and be the changemaker.
We have access, platforms, and privileges, why not use them to step up and make the world listen to their voice?

They also work collaboratively with the local community which provides support and resources to the organization, for instance recently they collaborated with Jan Sanjeevni Trust and organized a beautiful Hunger Relief Campaign.

Life of Student at Pehchaan The Street School
Pehchaan The Street School’s children's day begins with silent prayers and later with the introduction of one good habit- this small moment encourages positive behaviour and values.
After that, children are settled into their pre-assigned groups, and teachers are allotted to each group based on the curriculum.
The teaching session begins, which includes subject-based learning or educational activities.
All activities are study-related and designed to align with Pehchaan The Street School's learning goals.
This continues until around 4:30 to 4:45 PM.
Once the academic session wraps up, children participate in fun activities, which are conducted once a week to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging.
Finally, at 5:00 PM, a psychology session is held for the older children, while the younger ones are given leave for the day.
This organization also have a star-based reward system to keep the students motivated to pay attention and do well in their work. It goes like this-
Students get stars for participating, staying focused, and doing good work. They collect these stars all month long. At the end of the month, the students with the most stars win cool educational prizes like:
